One of the really fun things about being grandparents is that you can go watch the grandkids perform and truly enjoy the whole process. You don't have to drag the kids back and forth to practices/lessons, nag them to practice, go crazy trying to juggle schedules of 3 different kids in sports/lessons/scouts, etc. etc. You can just go hang out and enjoy the game/performance!
