Silence Broken

I'm not gonna lie.
Life is really hard right now.
And I just am not willing to share private information on the world wide web.
Kinda like profaning the sacred.
ya' know.

But know that there is a lot of kissing of grandbabies.
Fervent prayers being said.
Immersing myself in the scriptures.
Trying to allow the Savior to carry my burdens,
But sometimes they are tough to let go.....
Sometimes I think maybe I can carry them better....
Go figure.

I'm learning the HUGE importance of gratitude.
Looking for the tender mercies that occur each and every day.
And recognizing them, even if they are miniscule.
Feeling the love and warmth of family.
The strength that comes from temple attendance.

I'll try to pop back in soon.

P.S. It's finally cold here.
It's been freezing at night.
Garden?   what garden?

I think so many of us are right there with you Marilyn.

Thanks for your honesty and your devoted faith and testimony. I needed it really bad today.

Sometimes we just have to hang on tight to the knot at the end of the rope! Hang on to what you KNOW...and it's a lot.

I hope your burdens become lighter soon. (I thought you were just hiding out in the craft room working your wonderful Christmas magic!) ;)

My prayers are with you.
As I was reading my scriptures this morning, one thing that really caught my attention is the many, many graces that our Heavenly Father grants us. May our Father in Heavens grace be with you at this time.

Marilyn,
We love you so much and pray for you every day. It is hard to give our burdens to the Savior but when we do miracles happen. I am speaking from experience my dear, dear sister. All will work out because you are so faithful and you are serving the Lord and others with all of your heart.
