Our Angel

I don't even know where to begin, other than just to say it.
Last night Amy and Bret welcomed their precious baby, Ella.
Only to relinquish her to the arms of a loving Heavenly Father a few hours later.

Our hearts are heavy.
Our eyes are wet.
A mother and father's arms are empty.

We know of a plan.
A Plan of Happiness given to us by our dear Father in Heaven.
It gives us comfort to know that she belongs to an eternal family.
But still we ache with shed and unshed tears.
And painful loss.

We are so uplifted by the love and prayers and comforting words of others.
And we thank you so much.
And please never forget our precious angel baby, Ella.
Please go to my daughter's blog, Green Apple Images, and see the tribute and photo to our precious baby and if you feel able, donate to help a young couple pay for her funeral expenses.

Oh Marilyn,
you know I've been thinking about your family.
My simple prayer is that you all feel our Savior's love at this difficult time.

My heart goes to all of you, and especially Amy and Bret. This happened to my husband and I with our first child too, over 25 years ago.
It is such a very hard thing to go through. They will grow together as they deal with the pain, moving on, and having other children. Ella will always be in their hearts and minds. Thank goodness for a loving Father In Heaven who soothes hearts and hears prayers and who holds that sweet little one in his embrace now.
I know that I always had a picture in my mind of our oldest urging his brothers and sisters who came after him, earthward, and giving them words of encouragement.
God Bless Your Family at this difficult time.

Marilyn, I have been bawling since reading your post. We are expecting a grandbaby in a few weeks and it has been a very difficult pregnancy so my feelings are pretty raw anyway. but I was really hoping for a different outcome.

My heart also goes out to Bret and Amy. I can't imagine anything more difficult than what they are going through. But I pray they will feel some peace now and in the days ahead.

May God bless you all

My heart is breaking for your entire family. I am so grateful that Amy has each of you as I know how much support you are for her. Amy is such a magnificent person and I know that with your help, she will be able to cope with this difficult tragedy. I am grateful for eternal families; this devastating loss strengthens my testimony in the power of sealing ordinances. What a blessing it is to KNOW that Amy will have her dear Ella. I love all of you and wish you all the comfort Heavenly Father has to give.

Here's a hug from another home in Mesa, AZ, that mourns the loss of a baby Ella. Our Ella came and left eight years ago, but it is still a close and tender time in my life. I'm so sorry.

I hope you don't mind that I posted about this and put a link back to your blog. Hopefully more people will help with the cost of the funeral.
