Mystery Project

We have had a pile of boxes here, waiting to be opened; a new project to be assembled for WEEKS! Due to the lack of time and other more pressing engagements....we didn't have time to get 'er done until last Saturday.

What on earth could it be?

Why oh why does it always take longer than you think to get something put together?

And after a few tense moments, (and maybe a few muttered curses) we have...

A composter!!

Just another step closer to granola-ism......

Now the pile of garden refuse, grass clippings and kitchen scraps can be transformed into...

Really good black stuff to put into the garden!

Oh cool. I was making it into a generator, along the food-storage, self-reliance kick!

I've never seen one of those. My parents had a "compost pile" at the side of their house for years but I never knew WHY. lol Great black stuff!

Oh and about the calling swap. Uh, no thanks. I'll take my challenges where they are. ;)

The prettiest composter I have ever seen. No unsightly barrels for you. Next up, earthworms!!!!!
