P. Day

P. Day means Preparation Day.

And around here we are preparing for some big changes!

Because in two weeks our missionary boy is coming home!

Gotta get the room ready for two boys again...

Since we took over the extra bedroom for an office, and I'm not willing to give it back..

(I think I need some new bedspreads....looks a little blah...what color?)

And my music-lovin' teenagers kindly put together this:
The chest on the right......so big brother would have a place for his clothes and stuff.
Thank heavens for Ikea!

And willing teenagers.....

So that's the mystery project! We've been doing a little rearranging, too, to make room. Gotta love those return missionaries!

How cute! Love the dresser...and I am thinking a lovely smoke blue or navy. Can't wait to see the final room reveal when its all done.
I bet your just dancing with excitment. We might try to come to the airport, but with 3 crazy kids and just me it could prove a little tricky, we will see!

How exciting!! Steve will be home before you know it! The room looks great! What good teenagers you have to help you put things together!

I'm convinced that a missionary coming home is a little like how it will be when we are reunited with our Heavenly Father.
The joy is overwhelming. Each time I saw my RM's coming down the gate to my arms, I couldn't wait to get my arms around them and breathe them in...I missed my babies so much.
Two weeks is gonna fly by! And as for colors, anything but beige!
Now you've got me all excited!

Times a tickin' looks like you have a good hold on things. I'm impressed you did this and there is still 2 weeks (no procrastinating)! Can't wait to see what you decide for comforters. LaSchelle loves Overstock.com - good luck!

Can it really be two years already!!? I bet you don't think that. Maybe you could add some manly red to the room. Red and black are a good combo.

How fun!! I love decorating projects--especially when they are for a fun reason, like a son coming home! Congrats on that and good luck with all you are doing to get ready.
