All over my cucumber and squash plants. They were just thick everywhere!
I'm heartsick.
I had to use an insecticide as it was SO bad I don't know if I can even save the plants..........Cross your fingers. I'm so sad that I had to use a chemical in my garden, but I don't know if even that will help.....
Nice welcome home....huh......

So sorry I missed a chance to visit with you in CO!!
Oh dear, I am going to run out and check on my plants right now! I haven't looked at them for a couple days.
o my goodness thats no good! hopefully your hardwork isnt ruined!
Oh, man, that makes ME sick, too! We'll say an extra prayer for your garden . . . "pray over your crops."
awww...sorry!
The boss says use some malathion. Ask the store about it. Good luck!
Seriously, what is that creature?
A beetle of some sort?
If it makes you feel any better, I think that organic is overrated.
When we went to AZ for two weeks, it rained so much here, people didn't know if they were living in UT or in Seatle. So when we got back, our weeds in our garden had multiplied. Some are almost as tall as Owen.
I was feeling overwhelmed and sorry for myself, until I saw your post. Sorry you got bugs instead of weeds. I hope the spray helps.
ok that was wierd. Sorry, the armed citizen comment was from me. Hubs forgot to log off and I didn't notice till after I started dropping comments all over the blogosphere.
But really, I think HE would think the bugs were EWWWWW too. ;)
Grrr...bugs! Sorry Auntie! I hope you were able to save your plants.
The creature is, of course, a cucumber beetle!
