Maybe it's the stray toy that we forgot to pick up.
or it's the windowsill that's just at the right height for little people to teeth on.
(don't worry, no lead paint here!)
or maybe it's the perfect tiny handprints on the tv....
In any case, these little reminders warm my heart...
And make me smile.

Only one stray toy? The reminders warm my heart.
That window sill...I'm laughing but feel your pain! Our Grand-kids teeth on the edge of the wood stove or the wooden bench at the kitchen table. I haven't noticed teeth marks yet...wait, wait...oh yeah that was the squirrel! ;)
Maybe I should develop a better attitude, whenever I happen to glance at our T.V. I always get frustrated with it's dirty screen.
I am looking forward to those grandchildren . . . but certainly not in a rush!!
I just read your comment on my blog! That is so funny about Rena! I called her to ask for more details. I know Rena's family really well as her parents, brother, sister, and aunt all live on my street, but I don't know the Brooks side as well. We sure love all of her kids though!!
It makes me wonder where and when our next connection will show up.:-)
Honestly... I wonder what those days will be like. Right now, I miss hearing the kids yell " Mooommm" down the stairs. Just a few more days, and all will be quiet. I hope I don't go crazy like you hear about in the old days---where women went crazy listening to the wind or a bird chirp etc.... :)
Is there such a thing as home health for empty nesters ??!!
I can't wait till I get to bring my own mess-maker around!
One more week and we find out if it's a girl mess-maker or a boy mess-maker!!!
