Projects

Last week I was BOUND AND DETERMINED to finish a few unfinished projects before we left town. So here goes.....
W's birthday quilt. It has army tanks and helicopters on the other side-his baby quilt I had made him was completely THRASHED, so I promised him a new one.

Mom, I FINALLY finished these placemats. I bought the fabric in Utah last summer. It was way too much work and I am already sick of the colors but oh well-at least it's done. (I'm ready to do some springy stuff now!!)

Remember these?? Well, Mrs. Santa didn't get one (sniff) and so I decided by golly-it was time! Except I am a much messier cook than these fine ladies (legs??) so I made a full-sized one just for me....
It makes me happy......hmmmmm....I think I need to go cook something!

Next project.........finishing Elder Steve's scrapbook and making another baby quilt....PINK!

Oh my gosh, I love the apron! It is darling!
Everywhere I look now, I see aprons on blogs...I'm being "peer-pressured" into making one of my own!
Maybe my food will taste better if I wear a fun apron while I make, eh?!

I wish I could get 'bound and determined'....but then you know what they say about wishing... well my husband that is, "If you're gonna wish, wish big!" What is that other saying? I believe it's not nearly that nice. ;)

Luving the apron...nice work Ms. Crafty---where do you find the time? You must be super-douper fast on a sew machine!

Something very wholesome and inspiring about handmade gifts. Love the color choices on the aprons. You made me want to spend the day sewing.

Ok that is a super cute apron! All of them. I need to buy one (sewing machine's broken) or something because I always have flour hands on my clothes after grinding my wheat. I'm a hot mess!

Anyway, I always get sick of the colors/patterns when I spend a lot of time on something too. I spent forever on a quilted top to make into a bedspread. By the time I was done I wanted no part of it. blech. lol
