Every year, without fail.
My Renaissance girls head to the Renaissance festival.
All garbed in their finery.
Hand-made by the Renaissance girl herself (on the right).
Many times created without a pattern (how does she do that?).
They're off to a land long ago.
To eat large turkey drumsticks.
And watch the jousters.
And pretend they're princesses.
And practice their English accents.

I have never been . . . they make it look like tons of fun! I had no idea that they enjoyed that.
Wow..who knew? Sounds like lots of fun! We have been to a Scottish festival it sounds very similar...it was a blast!
Beautiful dresses...would they consider making some in little girls' sizes?? They could make a pretty penny doing that!
I have always been impressed with all her abilities....she has some amazing talents....I know she loves that festival...they look lovely!
How fun for them! We've gone once but it's been years. If I could find me some free or cheapo tickets I'd take the kids!
I went to that festival when I was in high school. It was a lot of fun. Beautiful dresses!
