Day #27-It's All out War!

See this sign?
There are supposed to be beans growing.
No, the green in the back is onions.
No, the green on the right is a tomato plant.
Why are there no beans?

Because the !@#$%^ birds are eating them!

i hear ya, sister. a squirrel is ruining my garden. yes, a squirrel. and i hate him.

you are my hero. i think of you often as i'm weeding my yard....i aspire to have a harvest like you......someday!!

ps: i'll send you the link for the cardboard cut-out! my dad is supposed to send it to me, and then i'll just forward over. it was kinda pricey, but totally hilarious & fun.

we have a ridiculous problem with birds too. Ruined our grapevine and I'm too lazy to deal with a covering that I have to take on and off to pick the grapes. Birds win. 1-0

Hee - I usually have that problem once the fruit gets on the tree, hard to keep the birds out of the grapes and peaches . . . now the deer . . . their a whole 'nuther story :)
