H is for..........

HATS!!!

Like the ridiculous OCD person I am, when I came across a darling pattern for hats for my grandkids, I just HAD to make them for our California trip.  So I spent the two weeks prior sewing like a maniac so each kid could have one to wear.

Remind me not to do that again.
But they looked SO cute I think it was totally worth it...............

Plus, I now have lots of photos for our annual ABC Christmas book... Go here to see what I'm talking about.

Those hats! I must make some for my grandkids. Can you tell me where you got the pattern? I've been trying to figure out something I could make for them- besides pajama bottoms- and those hats would be the bomb!

Reno-I got it from a website called youcanmakeit.com. They have all sorts of patterns. You pay for it, then download it as a PDF file. My only advice is MEASURE the kid's heads first. I felt like the amount of yardage of fabric was grossly overestimated and I didn't measure the kids first. I had to redo several of them because they were too small. The name of the pattern is "scout hat." Good luck!

Thanks Marilyn for the site! Those are the cutest! Have you pinned them? Do you mind if I do?
