My Obsession

One of my passions in life is scrapbooking. I guess I don't talk about it a ton-but it consumes a chunk of my time (and money) I am SO not creative so I go to several classes every month and do kits. I don't want to waste time sitting and trying to figure out to put a page together. I just want to enjoy the creative process of making the page and displaying gorgeous photos of my family and telling great stories. So this represents pages completed waiting to be put in an album, page in progress and piles of kits to be scrapped....(got a lot of them!) The goal today is to empty off this table---but I have had so much other busy work to get done that it may not happen today. Hope springs eternal!

Since I am obsessively compulsively trying to be organized, this little book is a great guide to setting up a system of organizing photos and albums, etc. Stacy Julian offers a class on line called "Library of Memories" which I took last year and I am re-taking it again as an alumni. This is a little gem that you can buy and learn the process without having to take the class. It's worth it!

Here's my little library of memories-always a work in progress. Here's hoping I get to add to it today!

I see you have the mega tape gun. How do you like it? I have seen many people using it.

By the looks of your albums, it looks like you are able to scrapbook a lot more than me. Post some of your creations some time!!!

I love the scrapbooking process. I actually prefer to not buy the kits. Maybe that is my problem - since I dont have the time to scrapbook - my scrapbooking is way behind!

Ahh I LOVE scrapbooking! Someday I hope to have shelves full of my beautiful creations... I guess I'll settle for at least one finished book for now! I also need help to get my creative juices flowing.

Love it! The shelves of albums makes me happy. Sorry I missed Seasons of ♥, but I did get the kits.

You go Mom. I'm glad I have you around to scrap about my family. I'm such a slacker.

I am totally impressed. I love papercrafting and photos but can't get to the scrapbooking. You look so organized.

I love scrapbooking too, but blogging seems to be getting in the way of my scrapbook time! :(

Your library of memories looks great! :)
