Photo Day #4

Sinkful of fresh lettuce straight from the garden.
There's nothing better than plain, crisp, cold greens with a squirt of ranch and a
dash of pepper.

Jan-Feb harvest- over 32 lbs of broccoli, lettuce, cauliflower, peas and carrots.
And that's what I weighed.
But this season is ending---
Time for the tomato, squash, cucumber season.

I'm in Ohio. Boy I can't wait for the garden!!! The lettuce looks yummy!

add a little tomato, some bell peppers, a few croutons, some almonds and cranberries...yum!!!!

An old family recipe for cream dressing to go on fresh greens: Mix heavy cream of half and half with some vinegar and sugar--wonderful old fashioned taste with fresh lettuce. The cream acts as the oil in the dressing.
