First Day of School

Twenty years ago....my little chickies leaving the nest to go to school.

Fast forward a few years, they are now leaving in shifts....
Elementary shift.... Junior high, 2 shifts of high schoolers, one driving...eeek! (and one toddler still at home)(please don't judge my scrapbook skills-ug)
All of a sudden my nest starts shrinking, as the "Big Kids" begin to leave home....
Last year my 2 "little" chickies leaving.....for two different schools.

And now my final chickie leaves early this morning for her first day in high school....Meet the newest "squashmore" at Mesa High.Bubba D is still in a coma as we speak-he starts college in two weeks.
Wow, time has flown by.....now the next generation is starting school!

She is so beautiful. Wow your baby is in high school. And I must say, I love the scrapbook page. So fun! You should see mine from the late 80's and early 90's....they would give your's a run for the money! I just dropped Abby off for 1st day of school, and so it starts!

I can't believe your youngest is in High School! We don't start until the 25th. I am nervous this time. I will have one in 9th, 7th, 6th, and 3rd! Its the 6th-9th that gets me :(

Wow! Time does fly by. Jacob is excited about "all day" school this year. It will be my first experience with a child gone all day, five days a week.

Goodness I'm a dork. Sigh...so sad that I grew up in the 80s/early 90s....bad hair. Oh well Lyss looks FAB! Man Mom, before too long you won't be sending anybody off to school anymore...betcha never thought that day would come. I certainly can't imagine it.
