Oasis of Creativity

Today was a creative day! I have discovered that in order for me to be a happy mom, I need to take some time to be creative, whether it is scrapbooking, sewing, quilting, photography, whatever. The years I was working so many long hours, I felt like I had "lost" myself and I think that's the reason why-I didn't take time to be creative. So here's my sample of scrapbooking today with the wonderful Angilicious Simplicity Class. I give her all the credit for the creativity but I get the credit for the cute kids in the photos!

I took a hiatus from scrapbooking this month (until today) and finished my Christmas quilt. The fabric had been sitting in the cupboard for a year but I finished it-Just in time for the weather to cool down and now we can wrap ourselves in its comfort!
