Gratitude for My Savior and His Church

And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
“And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:

“And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

“And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

“And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

“And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

“And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

“There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.

“And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.” (
Luke 17:11–19.)

I am so grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ, for his atonement, for his words through scripture and living prophets, for his example, his love and his church upon this earth today.

I'm so grateful to live just minutes away from a temple where priesthood ordinances are performed which can seal and bind my family forever, a place of peace, refuge and comfort from the world, a place of learning and spiritual power.

I'm grateful to have an opportunity to serve in His church, to serve His little ones at this time and to serve with my Hispanic brothers and sisters. I'm grateful for my Church leaders who care about me and my family and who guide and direct and comfort us.

I was feeling those same feelings as I was in the temple just this morning. I truly wish the entire world could feel His peace and joy that radiate from that place!

Hi Marilyn! It's great to meet you! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. I think it's awesome that you tried the recipe and it worked out so well. Hermano Juan is great at just throwing things together without a recipe. He's a brave man and it usually works out! I'll look forward to seeing you around! Oh, and I love the title of your blog. I think it's even harder to say than mine!

Amazing! I'm so excited to find these blogs. I have a question. Do you serve in the Hispanic ward in Mesa....if so, do you happen to know an Elder (Oh shucks, I have forgotten his last name....) He is from Tennessee and will be going home in December. His folks are coming to get him and he will be going home to a new home. I am aware of him because my son is in the Nashville TN mission and got to know my son. I live in AZ in the mountains.
