We're baaaack.
Just a few random facts about our trip:
It only took me 24 hours to get over the initial disgust of the place we were staying at.
I love most of the photos I took-it was overcast most of the time-lovely, lovely soft light.
I only took about 200 photos-most of them were the grandkids.
I have enough material and photos to blog about it for at least two weeks-but I won't.Grandkids say and do the funniest things.
We were COLD! ---loved that!
Everyone was there!
We had a family portrait on the beach-the look on the faces of the beach-goers watching us was pretty funny as we paraded up and down the beach getting the perfect shot-all 18 of us.
Aunt Flo visited, of course, and totally wiped me out-twice in one month-not good.
We saw Body Works at the Natural History Museum-incredible!
The food was awesome!
The company was awesomer.....
I read a great, great beach/summer book. Run...don't walk to the bookstore and buy it:
Ready to head back again next year!

When we lived in AZ, we too, used to beat a path over to CA...just to cool off!

Well, I obviously didn't show any restraint and you had to see my vacation for two months! Tell Aunt Flo she has outstayed her welcome.
