S'nores

You know, s'nores are those thingies you make with graham crackers, chocolate and marshmellows. Except when W asked me, "Gramma, are we going to have s'nores again tonight?", I knew that the word "s'nores" was going to be permanently imbedded into the family dialogue. There's nothing better than "s'nores" before bedtime on the beach....

Grandpa's "sacred grill" gets put to good use.
Serious business, this s'nore making..
First we roast, or burn, the marshmellows, depending upon your personal taste, then we smoosh them between the graham crackers with the chocolate and...
Then we pose for Gramma before we eat them!!
Some of us prefer plain, unadulterated chocolate.

I know, I know, lots of images, but they're all so cute, I just can't help myself.

Kathryn took her s'more making one step further. She was able to wedge the entire thing (cracker, chocolate, and marshmallow) onto a two-pronged hotdog stick. She toasted and melted everything. Yummy!!

The little gg children look more hypnotized by fatigue than by s'nores. They all look good! S'nores and children.
