Veteran's Day

This morning when I went outside, I saw this flag in front of my yard. Every national holiday someone in our ward sets out the flags early in the morning and then takes them down before dark. It is SO nice to drive down the road and see the flags displayed. Today I am remembering and giving thanks for:
#1 The anonymous people in my ward who take the time to do the little things that are extra special-like getting up early to post American flags.
#2 That our nephew, Zach, is home safely after his tour in Iraq,-he took the time to come to my party-that made my cry!
#3 Thanks to all those today who are keeping our country free and those who have fought and paid the ultimate sacrifice to keep our country free so that I can do fun things like blog!

Your blog is so fun to read!

My old ward used to put out flags & I loved it! It does my extremely patriotic heart good to see millions of flags all down the street & to read posts like this. You rock.

God bless America!
