Well, he's gone.
Here's a recap of the last 24 hrs, more or less:
Last minute playing with all the electronic devices, video games, texting and facebook.
The ritual passing of the keys of the teenage car to the next generation.
The destruction of the devices of Babylon, aka, the ipod (don't freak, it didn't work anyway-the Stake Pres. loved it!)
He's officially an Elder.
Final family portrait at the airport.Gotta give your mom one more squeeze.Man, let's get the show on the road. He was dancing around in his typical Daniel fashion.Hasta la vista baby! See ya' in two....So he should be landing in SLC as this posts. So how's mom?
Kinda numb.

What a great re-cap. Love the Ipod destruction!
WHen you start to get feeling again you'll realize you are a great mom, you have a wonderful son doing the Lord's work and you will all be blessed for it.
Especially the daughter with the new wheels.
By the way-you look terrific!
aw.
that's seriously tender...
what a happy moment/bittersweet, kinda. (:
cute post....
I can't believe he is gone! I keep having flashbacks to his little-ness. This role of being the oldest is an interesting one. I love being able to watch everybody grow up. He will be awesome. I'm so excited for him...can't wait to read his emails & see him grow...
Ahhh, how hard...and yet how wonderful!
awwwww...I feel like crying and he's not even my kid! How proud you must be!
Go get 'em elder!
Oh wow your last boy is off serving the Lord, awesome! You have had one crazy month! Hope you have a few days to breath before the next little boy enters the world and needs some TLC.
Congratulation and good luck to him! Alaska will be a bit of a change in the weather--although I am all for a little bit of cold right now!!
Good luck to you as well. I have only had one missionary but I loved having him serve. It was so much fun to get his letters.
Don't you get to see him off at the MTC? Maybe my mom and dad always did that because we lived in Utah. Hmmmm. I want to cry, and I'm not even his mom!
Great Post! SO happy for you all!!!
We're sending you lots of love from the northwest! Here's to the next two years going by quickly!
What neat pictures! I can't believe he is gone!
